Course Sign-up
The resources developed for this site are available to anyone who wants to use them. The sidebar on the left of this screen provides quick and easy access to:
- The Three Modules
- Active Discussions (can be accessed in two places - by clicking on course forums or individually under the active discussions headline)
- Materials & Resources
To begin taking this course, you must first sign up.
Click on, register for the site, or go directly to the lower part of the sidebar. Enter your user name (first and last name, ex. Jane Smith), then enter a password.
Once your registration is received, you will:
- Receive a confirmation email explaining how to proceed.
- Be given the start date for the course.
- Have an expected timeline for the course and each of the modules.

The course runs for a three-week period and each module is comprised of readings, discussion, and activities to complete. You may proceed at your own pace and share your information with the class on the online discussion board. During these three weeks you may post discussions at any time of the day.
Each class group has access to their group’s private discussion forums. Only the members of your class can access the forums. A moderator will answer questions and ensure that the discussions are appropriate. The time and effort you put into the course is up to you, but it is typically best if you are able to log in a couple of times a week and participate in the discussions.
Course materials can be completed in a short amount of time
to accommodate your busy schedule.
